About Me

I'm a Senior Research Scientist at Google, Zurich. I finished my doctoral studies in the Data Mining Group led by Prof. Aristides Gionis. In my thesis, I developed collective entity resolution methods with the main focus on linking historical population records and inferring family trees.

My research interests include data mining, machine learning, computational social science, natural language understanding, graph algorithms, and entity resolution. You can find more information about my research interests and hobby projects from my data science blog mining4meaning.com.

During my doctoral studies, I had the pleasure to work as a data scientist at Verto Analytics and to intern at Qatar Computing Research Institute and Google Research.
